Adblock Plus and (a little) more
Element Hiding Helper: Find-As-You-Type fixed · 2007-01-29 08:52 by Wladimir Palant
A new development build of the Element Hiding Helper extension (1.0+.2007012907) has been uploaded.
Installation
https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/
Development build has been removed, seems that it didn’t work with Gecko 1.8 (Firefox 1.5-2.0 and SeaMonkey 1.0-1.1).
Changes
- Fixed: Hot keys trigger find-as-you-type and can be caught be web pages before they get to Element Hiding Helper
Known issues
- View source tooltip’s position/size is influenced by other tooltips
- Frame around inline elements broken into multiple lines has wrong position/size
- Preview feature doesn’t work in Thunderbird/Mozilla Mail

I have the same problem as Peter, this build of EHH doesn’t work for me. The help appears, but no element selection, clicking doesn’t do anything, etc.

Works fine here! With the find-as-you-type feature on, tested on CNN and FoxNews.com.

Yep, broken here too – no EHH UI visible at all using SM 1.1 on WinXP
