I am using adblock plus 1.7.2 with google chrome Version 29.0.1547.62 and when I go to http://www.homes.com/ the number of blocked items in the ABP stop sign icon starts going up to the hundreds, then thousands.

ABP will cause Google Chrome to act sluggish or freeze up when this is happening

There are no pop-ups on homes.com so I don’t know why it’s doing this.

It is one of the few websites that I have seen that cause this.

I have went to homes.com with firefox and the regular adblock extension and I had no problems.

Other than that, great plugin it is really helpful

Me thinks google has passed some threats about letting their ads through. So the guy making this has no choice in the matter, he might even get a buck or two for it. Ad blockers will be useless in chrome from now on and the best thing will to be going for Firefox. Chrome is google, google has ads, you do the math.
