In an effort to bring new features and bug fixes to Adblock Plus users more quickly, we are working on increasing the frequency at which we publish new extension versions. Consequently, this release mostly contains some under-the-hood improvements and fixes an in-product messaging problem that caused an error message to be shown on websites (ui#1494).

Will be there a version for firefox?

Yes, absolutely. As soon as the Firefox problem has been addressed (see https://blog.adblockplus.org/releases/adblock-plus-321-for-chrome-microsoft-edge-and-opera#c008363 ), we’re going to release an update that brings in all the improvements and fixes that are currently missing.
Our plan is for this update to happen in January, at which point we’ll start releasing new versions for all platforms again.

Does the latest patch fix Youtube detecting AB+ and blocking users from watching videos?

No, and we’re not seeing any wide-spread activity yet at this point, and some problems can be fixed even without an extension update. That being said, we’re closely watching the situation and are ready to act as needed.
In the meantime, they may be trying out different things on a limited number of users, so you can help us by reporting the problem to us either via the “Report a problem on this site” button in the Adblock Plus icon popup, or by sending an email to support@adblockplus.org.

I can’t see paying for this service if they can’t keep up with google and specifically youtube ads.

The last youtube update was the same day as the adblock update. Adblock hasn’t worked on youtube since. For a while, quite a while, I was able to refresh the page if the youtube block popup came up and the video would play. they fixed that in this last update. I’m running 3.21.1 right now.
