Install Adblock Plus 2.6.13 for Firefox

The release announcement yesterday already mentioned an upcoming change that will break Adblock Plus in Firefox nightly builds. However, at that point we didn’t know the scope of the issue and didn’t have a simple solution. Turned out, Adblock Plus isn’t merely broken itself but breaks the browser’s user interface as well. Luckily, Nils Maier provided us with a simple work-around for the issue, so we could push out a new release quickly.

   Thank you so much for this release, cause yesterday I’ve to disable ABP, but today is working again, thank you for this useful tool, thanks for your time and work!

   every time i try to reinstall adblocker i get a pop up message that says “adblocker could not be installed because firefox could not modify needed files” please help

   That’s an issue with your Firefox profile. It’s hard to tell what exactly is wrong there but refreshing Firefox solves that kind of problem reliably (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings).
