I’ve tried to install the new version manually on Safari 9.0.1, but I received an error, that the extension could not be installed. Tried to delete the extension folder in Library/Safari, but this didn’t help.
Had to revert back to 1.9.2 (1.9.3 not available) from the extension gallery.
Is this new update not available for El Capitan?

“Safari kann diese Erweiterung nicht installieren.” is the error message I receive.
Reply from Dave Vandyke:
Hi Sven,
Sorry about that, there was indeed a problem with the Safari build. We have now uploaded an updated build, could you give it another try?
Thanks, Dave.

@Dave
Thanks for your reply, but I still get the same error message with the updated build.
I run the latest OS X 10.11.1 build with Safari 9.0.1.

Sometimes Safari behaves a little buggy when installing extensions. Mind trying following?

@Sebastian
Awesome, I’ve uninstalled it and restarted my MacBook. Then installed the new update from your website and it worked. Thanks a lot!

I am trying tom download it from the app store, but I get this message:
Cannot download.
This app is not compatible with your device.
WTF?!

If you are using Chrome, Opera or Safari on the desktop, you can get Adblock Plus from our website. However, this sounds like you are using a mobile device. Unfortunately, none of the major mobile browsers support extensions. However, we have our own browser for Android and iOS, with Adblock Plus integrated. You might want to check it out.

After successfully using ad blocker plus for several years to block unwanted, distracting, space occupying side panel ads from the 24/7 games of blackjack and solitaire which I enjoy, suddenly, without warning, ABP is ineffective although its symbol still appears on my desktop’s monitor.
What has gone wrong and how can I correct this aggravating problem?
Please respond to my email with a solution.
Reply from Dave Vandyke:
Hi Charles,
It’s likely that your computer has been infected with“malware” (sometimes known as “adware”). When that happens there’s not much an adblocker can do to help, you’ll need to run a scan on your computer to remove the malicious software.
Be careful when choosing a malware removal tool, some of them are junk themselves! I personally have used “Spybot – Search & Destroy” and “AVG Free” with success, but the tool required will depend on your operating system and the specific infection that you have. Some malware is extremely hard to get rid of, you might have to try a few different approaches. (It also sometimes helps to uninstall any applications you don’t recognise, especially “search helpers”, “smiley face packs” and “search bars”.)
I hope that helps, Dave.
