Thanks for this release Wladimir Palant. I, like many others using Firefox 12, was expierencing big problems with previously blocked ad’s popping up all over. Will I now have to ‘re-educate’ Adblock Plus 2.2.1 to recognise which ad’s to block by adding filter’s etc each time I encounter one?? Its seems all previous settings have vanished. Many thanks. Shura (from London).

You can restore your settings from backup – open Filter Preferences, click “Backup and Restore” button and restore one of the automatic backups.

Hello. I’m using Firefox 12 and Adblock stopped working. What’s the problem. Thank you.
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
You need to update to the current version (preferably to the current Firefox version as well). If you are already using Adblock Plus 2.2.1 – please go to Filter Preferences and make sure you have a filter subscription (restoring a backup of your old filters should also do).
