Thank you for your continued innovation and dedication Wladimir!
I was very happy to see a Adblock Plus entry, in the Google Chrome Extensions Gallery.
It’s great to see you expanding your effective and invaluable Adblock Plus extension!
===
Previously, I had been using an extension on Google Chrome called “AdBlock” and it was slowing down my browsing.
In contrast, your new extension allows much faster page-loads.
Though I’m aware that you haven’t changed much yet, I look forward to seeing how far you can improve upon AdThwart’s codebase.
===
And when I DO use Mozilla Firefox, my main motivation is the unparalleled Adblock Plus extension!
Since Firefox allows for more through ad-blocking, I still use it for some circumstances.
===
Keep up your stellar programming work dear friend!

Adblock Plus for Google Chrome works splendidly for me. :D

Congratulations on a successful launch of ABP on Chrome! Within a fortnight your extension has already been ranked as the 23rd most popular extension. Good luck in the future. Any idea on when a Safari port might be released and when ABP on Chrome will leave beta status?
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
It’s definitely not going to happen this year ;)
I hope to release a more competitive Adblock Plus for Chrome towards end of January, it might require more time however. A Safari release will most likely be released around the same time.

First of all, let me thank you very much for bringing competition into the adblocking on Chrome.
I made the switch from Firefox <latest stable> to Chrome just a few months ago and was sorely missing the competent adblocking functionality that AdBlock Plus had provided to me on Firefox, for many years.
After a quick assessment of AdBlock Plus for Chrome 1.0.23 I am looking forward to improved versions which deliver the same – or even better – level of functionality compared to the currently leading ad blocker on Chrome.

Any chance you can make adblock plus block such adreses/popups:
<div class=“down_butt_pad1” style=“display:none;” id=“downloadlink”><a href=“http://www***.megaupload.com/files/********************************/file_name.ext” class=“down_butt1“onclick=“javascript:window.open(‘http://s.megaclick.com/ad.code?de=2c1b4dca-c4910078-af8a225a-3fc807e4-1f16b-3-18359&tm=1293640243.18401&du=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zMHRrLmNvbS8%3d%0a’,‘popunder’,‘width=800,height=800,scrollbars=yes,status=no,resizable=yes, toolbar=no’); window.focus();”></a></div>
Currently using a manual rile like “http://s.megaclick.com/ad.code*” doesn’t work at all.

You probably want to ask in the forum. See https://adblockplus.org/en/getting_started#subscription – I cannot make Adblock Plus block something.

Hello. Thank you for your excellent program and thanks to the subscription filter makers too. We are still on Windows 98/ME and using Firefox 2.0.0.20 with Adblock Plus 1.0.2. Please don’t scream, but would it be possible to have a slight update to this 1.0.2 to cover any new scripting the newer Filters have?
It says “Some filters in this subscription require Adblock Plus 1.1 to work properly!” —(easylist)
I know its all old, but it works and is still in use. Any hope???
Thank you again for your time and effort on ABP!!!
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Sorry but with Windows 98 and Firefox 2.0 you have bigger issues to worry about – see http://adblockplus.org/blog/to-anybody-using-firefox-20-or-adblock-plus-102-it-is-time-to-upgrade, both of them have a huge list of known vulnerabilities and using them to surf the web is guaranteed to infest your system with malware (if that didn’t happen already).
