Adblock Plus and (a little) more
Brief EasyList status update · 2010-07-06 10:44 by Wladimir Palant
Just wanted to give a brief update on EasyList. People who visit either Adblock Plus forum or EasyList forum occasionally probably noticed already that Ares2 has little time to work on EasyList and Michael is usually speaking on behalf of EasyList authors. This change is now official: Michael is now the main EasyList author. Also, Khrin and MonztA are joining the team.
Update (2010-07-08): Fanboy’s List also got a new contributor – welcome Nitrox to the team!

Congrats to you MonztA!! No offense to you Khrin, it’s just that I’ve know MonztA a lot more over a longer period of time, no offense is meant. Congrats to both of you. But most of all congrats to everyone that counts on this list to block ads as this will help everyone greatly I’m sure! And also Michael sure has showed he is worthy of being the author. Congrats to you on that major achievement Michael! I’m very happy about that and I think you have earned it.

On a related note, any chance the maintainers might consider putting EasyList under a FOSS license?
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Why is a creative commons license not enough? What exactly are you looking for?
