Element Hiding Helper 1.0.4 works fine.

    Thanks Wladimir!

Ctrl+Shift+K is what Scrapbook uses for “Capture Page As” for a long time. Can we have another option? Thanks!

    Reply from Wladimir Palant:

You can go to about:config and change extensions.adblockplus.ehh-selectelement_key preference (you can find some instructions on http://adblockplus.org/en/faq_customization#shortcuts).

See http://adblockplus.org/blog/shortcut-keys-are-hard for reasoning behind this choice – and why conflicts with other extensions are bound to happen.

Honestly I believe that ctrl+shift+v is the best combo. . . k is a far reach for one handed operation, unless you’re used to doing ctrl+shift stuff with your right hand. I’ve never known anyone that has, tho.

is it possible to add some scrollbar to the advanced view? if the to-be-blocked part is far down in the hierarchy it is not possible to see anything because of the indentation…
    thx a lot :)

    Reply from Wladimir Palant:

I know – but that’s a general limitation of Firefox, horizontal scrollbars don’t play nice with trees. So far the only way to “fix” this is making the window larger.

oh ok, thats a pity. but wouldnt it be possible to resize the tree window along with the main window? like that it wouldnt take too much space…

    Reply from Wladimir Palant:

It is being resized – and there is a splitter between the tree and the panel on the right so you can adjust how much space each of them gets.

ah, my fault. didnt see the movable splitter. thx :)

Element Hiding Helper’s keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+K) is now occupied by Firefox 4, and shows the console.

Could you make EHH’s keyboard shortcut configurable?

    Reply from Wladimir Palant:

It is already – extensions.adblockplus.ehh-selectelement_key preference.
