When is there going to be an option to disable specific JavaScript scripts that make ads work on some pages?
For example, this works in ADP Firefox: ||domain.with.ads/*/js/banner*.js
In ADP Chrome even changing || to http:// doesn’t help.
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
In Adblock Plus for Chrome you currently can only use filters of the form “||domain^$third-party” for blocking. We plan to remove this restriction in the next release (probably going to have version number 1.1). As explained elsewhere, Adblock Plus for Chrome currently has only minor improvements over AdThwart, major structural changes will take longer.

Nice to see you guys go to other browsers, any chances of an opera extension any soon? the ones that are currently in opera are just horrible, they block stuff that isn’t ads more then actually blocking ads.
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
As mentioned various times in the forum – Opera needs to allow blocking ads first. The current capabilities of their extensions systems are nowhere sufficient.

The icon for Chrome on the Mac is off really poor quality, could you fit in a better one?
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Which icon? The icon appears in many places, do you mean the small one in the address bar?
Syrek_ · 2011-01-02 22:40 · #
I ment the one in the addressbar. Didn’t realize there are more places where the icon is used :)
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
It very small (16×16 pixels), getting “good quality” there is very hard. A Mozilla designer promised to look into this soon, let’s hope that he will be able to do better.
