Note: Due to third-party store review policies, it may take a while until the update is made available to everyone.
The highlights of this release is that the popup allowlisting button now does 7
day smart allowlisting. It also contains a potential fix for a bug where some
users are reporting no longer having any subscriptions.
Changes
- We no longer test the MV2 build of our extensions on Chrome 129 and later, since it disables MV2 extensions by defaults.
- Enable user counting functionality
- Updated snippets to 1.6.0
- Upgraded to SDK version 1.15.0
- Updated snippets to 1.7.0
- Changed popup allowlist behaviour to 7 days smart allowlist (EXT-339)
- Attempt to fix issue when no subscriptions are enabled (due to corrupted data), restoring to default subscriptions (EXT-375)

Hey Fixer,
My PC Browser is Google Chrome 130.0.6723.59 (10-15-2024).
Adblock Plus 4.8 extension Installed and Look out to Adblock Plus Settings—Advanced—Filter lists—Added is Fanboy+Easylist-Merged Ultimate List (https://secure.fanboy.co.nz/r/fanboy-ultimate.txt) but clicked Exclamation Warning Round Red Icon= it’s say: “There are one or more issues with this filter list: synchronize_too_many_filters”
So Please Fix it from Filter. That’s We don’t know what’s going on?
Other Browser are fine working about Firefox and Edge. Please FIX it.
Thank you for your help.
Reply from Thomas Greiner:
This is due to a limitation from Chrome, because it doesn’t allow extensions anymore to add more than 30,000 rules (see Chrome's dynamic rules limits).
Seeing that the filter list you mentioned contains around 100,000 filters, it’s unfortunately too large to be added.
