Install Adblock Plus 2.8.2 for Firefox

This is a maintenance release, most importantly introducing some improvements to CSS property filters.

Additional changes

• Made sure that element hiding rules don’t affect browser’s and extensions’ special pages, this regressed with Adblock Plus 2.8 (issue 4624, issue 4625).
• Fixed blockable items list slowing down page loading (issue 4587).
• Pop-ups using data: URLs and similar unusual schemes can be blocked now (issue 4368).
• When selecting keyboard shortcuts, more shortcut keys already in use by the browser can be recognized. This will change the shortcut key to show Blockable items list from Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-V to Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-U for pretty much everybody (issue 4544).

   From ABP home page or addons.mozilla.org only v2.8.1 is available !

   That’s because Mozilla hasn’t reviewed the update yet, there is always a delay caused by that.

   When will be available the FB inserted ad (Suggested and Sponsored shit) filtering ? They are VERY annoying and appearing very often in news feed…

   Adblock’s been working worse, NOT better on Firefox… Some YouTube ads have even gotten by unfiltered. Please fix it already.

   This is about filters, not Adblock Plus itself. Assuming that you have EasyList filter list (the default), you probably want to ask about that in the EasyList forum – https://forums.lanik.us/.

   Actually it was the AdBlock Warning Removal list, which does not appear to have a section on those forums or any mention on their webpage.

   So you have only the Adblock Warning Removal List? That explains why you are seeing ads – that list isn’t meant to block ads. You should add EasyList, e.g. by clicking this link.

   I’m using the latest version of Adblock Plus but the PopAds.net popup are not blocked.

   My subscriptions are EasyList+EasyList Italy.

    Hello,
    there is a problem with adblock-plus-282 on ff45.6esr?
    I see NO blocking-stats and there is no “extensions.adblockplus…….” entry about stats in prefs.js. In about:config there is. Next i try writing this entry manually in prefs.js, with 1 as value.

    Filters are manually set, no List subscriptions.
