When will we see an update for the Android version of this browser? It’s been languishing in the Play Store for over a year.
Reply from Mario König:
It’s been quite a while since we have been able to release a new version of Adblock Browser for Android due to an unfortunate large number of reasons, which we have mostly overcome by now. I can’t give you an exact date yet, but we’re close to feature freeze and work towards a new release. Very soon :)
If you want to give the beta version for Android a try, feel free to check out our beta community. It was updated with the most recent development build last week.

This update allows all ads
Reply from Mario König:
Thanks a lot for the feedback. There is a bug which, under specific circumstances, results in Adblock Browser showing ads until it is restarted. We’re currently preparing a release to address this. So it should be fixed very soon. In the meantime – in case ABB starts showing ads you can close it by double-tapping the home button, swiping up on the app and restarting ABB. Sorry for the inconvenience.
