Adblock Plus and (a little) more
First Adblock Plus for Chrome development build · 2010-12-18 18:34 by Wladimir Palant
Under https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockpluschrome/adblockpluschrome-1.0.21.20101218.crx you can try the first Adblock Plus for Chrome development build. Please note that it isn’t very different from AdThwart yet, only a bunch of smaller changes.
Update (2010-12-19): I uploaded an update for this development build which you should get automatically now (version 1.0.21.570). The process of publishing development builds is still a very manual one right now, this will hopefully change soon.

Cool, but one thing http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1269/ca43b30ed87e44ce99e3b0d.png this looks a bit bad. But not so important!
I’m looking forward to the final release :)
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Yes, this was reported already – appears to be a bug in Chrome 10. Chrome 8 recognizes the encoding correctly.

The subscription page needs a bit of work :P But I guess its only an alpha..
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Yes, it needs lots of work, I know. But for now the “core values” are more important.

unfortunately there is no build of iron available for the droid x. is there no build of chromium available for the droid x or the droid bionic? all the android phones need adblocking and full permission control for user applications

It hides ads or block them ?
Reply from Wladimir Palant:
Currently it will only block for filters of the form “||example.com^$third-party”, in all the other cases it hides.
