Adblock Plus and (a little) more

The current Adblock Plus development build (1.1.3+.2010041402) is the first release candidate for Adblock Plus 1.2. All features on the roadmap have been implemented and I am starting the final translation stage.

Changes since the previous announcement:

• Added Fanboy’s List as recommended filter subscription
• Subscription selection dialog: if multiple options are available for user’s locale one is selected randomly
• Filter composer: Added “block entire domain” as suggestion (forum topic)
• Firefox Mobile/Fennec: Added Adblock Plus status to site identity panel, clicking will disable/enable Adblock Plus on site
• Fixed: Subscription selection not always showing up on first start if previous browser session is restored
• Fixed: Toolbar icon not showing correctly with Songbird’s new default theme

   Hallo,

   da ich grade auf der Arbeit bin, kann ich es nicht überprüfen, aber wenn ich mich recht entsinne, scheinen die Beiträge unter “About Adblock Plus” seit ein paar Tagen nicht mehr zu funktionieren (die “Contributors”, etc. werden nicht mehr angezeigt).
   Vielleicht kann das ja noch schnell überprüft werden, bevor die Version dann “final” wird.

   Danke, habe das zwar heute auch gesehen, dachte aber, dass es an meiner Testumgebung liegt. Contributors wurden nur in englischsprachigen Browsern korrekt angezeigt, das habe ich jetzt korrigiert: https://hg.adblockplus.org/adblockplus/rev/dc0178b32921. Im nächsten Build sollte es also wieder funktionieren.

   “visit homepage” doesn’t work. Right click on Adblock Plus in addons window. The homepage item is greyed out.

   This happens with 1.1.3+.2010041702 DE

   Why is Fanboy’s List the default filter now. After all, Easylist is on http://easylist.adblockplus.org/

   It isn’t – for English-speaking users both Fanboy’s List and EasyList are a recommendation, one of them is picked randomly when you open the subscription dialog. Both are excellent lists so no real point preferring one over the other.
