Adblock Plus and (a little) more
New Release: Adblock Plus for Safari on iOS · 2019-12-16 16:44 by Matthew Garcia
The newest Adblock Plus for Safari on iOS is here to stop ads from overrunning your Apple devices!
iPad users in particular may notice that the new operating system iOS 13 now runs Safari as a desktop browser rather than a mobile browser, meaning an increase in flashy and intrusive ads. As well as being extremely time-consuming and annoying, these in-your-face ads can also drain the battery in your devices and negatively affect bandwidth.
But Adblock Plus is here to protect you.
Not only does the new Adblock Plus for Safari come with an updated, user-friendly interface, it now runs faster than ever. Downloading the extension is also easier with brief video tutorials and easy-to-follow instructions for hassle-free installation, so even your less tech-savvy friends and family members can safeguard their devices.
Adblock Plus for Safari on iOS is, of course, also compatible with iPhones and Macbooks.
These new improvements will allow Apple device users to enjoy, for example, YouTube videos in Safari without the disturbance of pre-roll ads, mid-video ads, or even those pesky ads that have started to show up at the end of videos. Yes, that’s right — no more interruptions during your YouTube music playlists, ASMR meditations, or DIY tutorial sessions!
No matter what kind of device they prefer, users have the right to decide when and what kind of ads they want to see. In an online world totally infested with distractions, targeted advertisements, and malware, we’re here to advocate for user choice and give users autonomy over their internet experience.

Just installed Ad block plus for iOS. I’m still seeing adds. I turned on all the options to prevent them and still seeing. Why? It’s as if I don’t have ad block on at all.

The last time I updated the Adblock browser, I was given an insidious choice: Ads or Acceptable ads, in the selection side bar. Deleted the app on the spot!
My old Adblock plus for IOS will run it’s course, until it will no longer function. Fool me once……
